Job Description

A) Job Scope / Role 

Brand Activation Manager is responsible for the implementation of end-to-end marketing and branding activation in a timely, within budget and meeting the client’s standards. In addition, Brand Activation Manager needs to plan, execute and co-ordinate a variety of marketing, promotion and events which include creative concept and ideas to enhance the client’s experience

B) Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison and key contact to cultivate business relationship with the client in delivery of brand activation services
  • Provide leadership, direction, motivation, coaching, and guidance to the team in all brand activation activities across the business, including to develop and execute national exhibitions, industry events, product launches, corporate events, customer-facing events as well as digital technologies including web, mobile, email, social media.
  • Responsible for defining the digital strategy to meet communication objectives across owned, earned, shared, and paid channels
  • Responsible for generating and nurturing leads for the organization using different marketing channels through CRM automation system
  • Developing and creating new ideas, proposals and presentation to new or existing clients
  • Designs the measurement framework, such as KPI, based on our clients’ desired outcome
  • Overseeing project planning, execution and ensure correct level of resource is allocated for each project
  • Involved in all project plans, budgets preparation, P&L forecasting, job expenditure forecasting, billing and Accounts Receivable management.
  • Monitor on guard activities, set-up and dismantling works to ensure brand guidelines adhere
  • Perform post-mortem after the campaign or event and make recommendations for any improvement plans
  • Study on current marketing trends and news, competitors movement and product specification
  • Collaborate with other teams to create and pitch content and ideas, resulting in all-in win-win relationships
  • Develops and reviews operational processes and work methods, including suitable operational processes, policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop new initiatives and seek new business opportunities to ensure target is achieved
  • Track, report and address client issues relating to a given project from time to time

C) Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications
  • At least 6-8 years good experience in B2B, B2C, marketing, branding, digital, communications, and content experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in lead
  • Good understanding of analytics for data driven marketing
  • Thorough knowledge of CRM software
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Possess strong organisational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and is detail oriented
  • Comfortable operating independently in a nimble, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in both corporate and agency role (client serving) would be added advantage

  • Experience managing and coaching people, making decisions and driving execution
  • Creative with the ability to think outside the box and provide innovative ideas and solutions
  • Digital and social media savvy and passion to drive this department forward
  • Ability to articulate, rationalize and present concepts effectively
  • Ability to work to deadlines, work quickly to change
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required
